What is confidential about material made available to the public – um nothing.

Let’s talk about confidentiality agreements as well. Generally when you start working for someone, you may be asked to sign a confidentiality agreement. The signing of a document means that in some form or another it’s official business.

The same can be said for a Service Agreement if you are a contractor or if an employee agreeing to the company policies. You get it.

So. Where is my confidentiality agreement that I signed not to disclose any of the information I may or may not be privy to?

It doesn’t exist.

Service Agreement? No wouldn’t agree to one.

Employee? Please that is way too much paperwork.

So if you don’t have these type of things in place when you begin working with someone – expect to be burned – either way.

But whatever may or may not be put into writing can and will be used against you.
