Sew The Sewing Wars Book Tour is Going to be a Thing

Yes, we are planning a book tour for later this year to the US and Canada, followed by UK. If we can’t pull it off in time, we will definitely be doing it early next year.

 

We have a long list of quilting and book stores we are going to be visiting all throughout the US and Canada and hope to meet a lot of you in person.

 

Sewing Wars is currently sitting at Number 1 New Release on Amazon Business Ethics. It was the best birthday present I could have asked for.

 

Why Business Ethics instead of Sewing? Let me explain.

 

The whole issue with all of this, is the way that FC conducted her business. The lengths she went to, all explained in the book, to keep you under her control, frightened to say a word, but still hand over your money.

 

This is a business issue. Sewing is not the only sector subjected to this behaviour, it just happened to be my experience of poor business practices. It is unethical, and actually illegal to take your money and not provide services and yet so many of you are too afraid to demand your money back or to complain.

 

I get it. I was one of you. In the book I explain how I too, fell under FC’s spell. But I also say in the book how once you see something, you can’t unsee it.
